Don’t Think About It explores the social and psychological aspects of food, using existing footage from cinema and personal videos online. While some of the content used is explicit and often disturbing, the film largely relies on the juxtaposition or even similarities between clips to conjure an image in the viewer’s head, forcing you to confront ideas and issues surrounding food that you don’t necessarily want to think about. From the concept of greed and arousal, to evolutionary pressures and environmental factors, how do these play a part in our consumerist society?
